Michael & Kai Harvey share a love connection over varies of music, laughter and became foodies.  the two decided to open a restaurant and bakery in their heart of their hometown of Richmond, VA.

Chef Kai's love for food sterns from cooking in the kitchen with her mother during her childhood. Her ability to create technically prepared dishes with a home style twist without compromising the flavor truly speaks to her passion and creativity for the perfect conditions to enjoy delectable courses.

With her culinary arts training and love for all regions of food, Chef Kai and Mike decided to bring something unique and inviting back to their hometown. Mike's Jazz Cafe is a pleasant listening experience with delicious food, cocktails, wines and hospitality in a fun atmosphere.
